OKLAHOMA was a project from the music school Reinikendorf in Berlin 2019

Yeri Anarika (Stage director), Stefan Johannes Walter (conductor), Eleonora Alexandrova Meyden (choreograph), Werner Sandmann (stage) and the ensemble stage the musical "Oklahoma!" in Fontana Haus.

 

On stage it's about the trials and love complications and the rivalries between cowboys and farmers. The story is simply knitted, and is implemented funny as it is meant.  The text by Oscar Hammerstein is based on the play "Green grow the lilacs" by Lynn Riggs. „Oklahoma!".  The piece has sweet stories in which 6 people have to do, it creates itself again and again a triangle which causes complications and then solutions to finen. 

The musical "Oklahoma! tries one since animate and make fun - but as a second level: There is something human, even if it is implemented funny: there reigns aberrations and confusions, something jealousy, envy, cold, but again and again ingratiatingly cheerful, melodies and naive moments in their sometimes melancholic kindness immediately establishing themselves: Our staging follows all this level and then results in a good contrast.
